Take My Time

Take My Time was comissioned by the BIG Collab for their inaugural event which was held in Bournemouth town centre; Sherbet Lounge in January 2011.

This performative occupation in a comercial public space requested of those interested to take a seat in front of the administrator where they would be greated and offered a date from the administrators diary. The diary had been dismantled and reassembled.  It hung from the ceiling behind the sitter and to take a date the sitter would tear a page from the hanging pages. The admninstator would then stamp both the single sheet a diary on the desk.  Then the sitter would then be free to leave with the stamped diary page.
